This summer, I spent a few days out in Joshua Tree and the surrounding areas. I mainly grew up in the desert, so I feel at home when I'm out there. Plus, I'm only about an hour away, so it's a close getaway. ⠀ One of my favorite new eating places in Pioneertown is @pappyandharriets. Their burgers are amazing! (Which reminds me - today is #nationalcheeseburgerday) I've been to Pioneertown before, but this was my first time eating at Pappy & Harriet's. The only thing flashy is their sign. Their environment is so rustic and relaxed - totally my kind of place. My next goal is to check out one of their shows and listen to some good music. They have some amazing artists play here! (P.S. This isn't an ad, I just wanted to share). ⠀ Have you ever been to @pappyandharriets? What's your favorite food or drink there? Have you seen a show? ⠀ Shot on my @googlepixel. A last-ditch effort for one final summer post 💦 Bring it on fall!! 🍂🍁
You know what's better than Triple Sevens? 🎰 Quadruple Sevens.
This was my first time camping out at Indian Cove Campground in Joshua Tree. I wasn't familiar with the nearby trails, so I used @googlemaps on my Pixelbook to get a map of the trails and locate Rattlesnake Canyon trail (which I had a couple of people recommend to me - so, it's got to be good right?). ⠀ I was able to easily locate the trail and begin exploring. After spending a couple of hours, I could see why people were telling me about it. The scenery completely surrounded me and I felt like the only person there. I literally only saw 2 people the entire time I was hiking. It was so nice to just get away and clear my head for a bit in the California desert. Swipe through to see my photos 👆🏻➡️ ⠀ Do you like camping? I think it's in-tents! 😁⛺ #pixelbook #giftfromgoogle @madebygoogle
Smile for the birdie! 🐦Do you see the little bird hanging out on the sign? 🔍I didn't even notice him/her until I was zoomed in and editing this photo! 😄
I love the desert. I like the quiet, the open land, the smells, and the unshakeable and resilient landscape. This was my first time in Marfa, Texas and it was an incredible experience. I slept in a tent (which had a bed - so it was pretty nice!), froze my butt off at night and the early mornings, and it was hot and dry during the day. When I took this night shot, it was in the low 30's and the wind was blowing pretty good. I remember my hands being numb, but enjoying the light show of stars above. It showed me how resilient I can be. I have learned to adapt to all kinds of situations in the outdoors, as well as in life. I can't wait for more moments like this! #ThereThereFestival @moment

There's always that one tall guy that tries to stand upfront in pictures. 🌴
Pier Pressure. Do you ever feel like you need to keep doing something the same way, just because everyone else is, or because you are afraid of change? What if you switch it up or try doing things a little differently? Hey, I am totally there with that fear...but I am almost more afraid of not changing. Don't let peer pressure hold you back. For me, I am taking a dive off of this pier and testing the waters.💦 ⠀ I don't typically get too deep on here, but I really felt like I needed to share this. If not for you, then for myself. 💙
San Bernardino, pink looks good on you! 👍🏻💗
