Coniston Old man via Brown Pike, Buck Pike and Dow Crag. This was definitely my favourite walk to date with @h0worth. This was a stunning day but I've never experienced a busier fell than the old man. Fun fact, did you know Blind Tarn below Brown Pike still contains Char and Trout from when quarrymen established them for sustenance? Also the 4th image shows how windy and cold it was hahaha
Look at that view. Fells arent bad either. @andrewbarlowphoto got this shot of me coming down Hause Gate. He isn't bad with that camera of his!
What a great Birthday, 24! Headed to Keswick and did Catbells via Maiden Moor. That coupled with what me and Liam did yesterday up Coniston old man has left me dead. Always a pleasure walking with @h0worth and @andrewbarlowphoto. About 22km in 2 days, not bad for a big chonk! If you sent me a birthday message I really appreciated it, thankyou! 😁
Awesome day out today with Nick and @h0worth. Parked at Blea Tarn and walked up and round Side Pike over Lingmoor. "The squeeze" or "fat mans agony" is well out of order, that's discrimination at its finest. Had no other choice but to remove the obstacle with a swift kick. Now any big chungus can pass easily. Lingmoor is a beautiful fell and that's another one to tick off. Nothing better than being out with your friends on a nice day just laughing and joking the whole time.
Today was absolutely incredible. Headed to the langdale pikes with @h0worth and Nick! Headed up to Stickle Tarn which was an absolute BITCH of an ascent by the way. Round, up over Pavey Arc, across to Harrison Stickle, down Loft Crag. I am dead. Almost got savaged by a sheep. Today was the biggest test for me since my injury but it just shows me how strong my knee now is. Great feeling! Sounds mega corny but there is something about being out there with your friends that makes you feel free and happy. Pure elation, you just realise where you are and take a moment to appreciate it!
Cracking day today with @andrewbarlowphoto and @h0worth! Started in grasmere and heading up to Alcock Tarn, up and around to Nab Scar. Finished with a cumberland sausage, scrambled egg and cheese crepe at Emmas Dell.
Finally made it back down to Leeds to reunite with my heck frens. We played junkyard mini golf and it was littttt! The place had a photo booth too, enjoy this gif!
Somehow missed this absolute gem from the other day. Nice view that! We must have gotten one of the nicest winter days in a long time.
Had an absolute blast playing in the snow today with @bobbyducks and @h0worth! Went up Silver Howe in Grasmere. Felt like I was in the Alps! I haven't done anything that treacherous since before I damaged my knee. For some it might seem easy, but mentally I have to try to overcome it going walking in places like that. Little victories, confidence went up a lot! Thanks for the laughs bois! The snow was over a foot deep in places, safe to say a lot of snowballs were thrown.
Learning to play piano is something thats been a goal of mine for a long time. I got a keyboard for Christmas and its been so much fun messing around with it. Getting to grips with the Engagement Party song from La La Land. I know its not the best, just started! 😁 Havent managed to find a teacher yet so for now, the internet will do!
Christmas is my favorite time of year, spending time with friends and family is super important to me and last night was fantastic. Safe to say I found my love for Gin and I'm now edgy. Thanks for a great night guys!
Works Christmas do was fantastic. Very thankful to have a great group of people to work with, absolute bois.
Such a great day out on Sunday. Headed up Pike O'Blisco, it looked way friendlier than it actually was! False summit after false summit! Loved it.
Another from Holme Fell. I told @h0worth to get a picture and he gets me looking exhausted. Which wasn't far from the truth really! The reality of walking up a hill! Heading out again on Wednesday with @andrewbarlowphoto, if it rains the weather mans gettin it.
Had a great day with @h0worth and @bobbyducks yesterday! Went up Holme Fell! The descent was an absolute *******! Going to get some walking poles at the end of the month, sore today! This was the flat forested area below it, absolutely gorgeous place! Went to Hodge close after that, I'm 23, lived in the lakes my entire life and I only went there for the first time yesterday!
Another from yesterday's walk in Thirlmere! The colours the samsung s9 plus picks up are crazy! Really enjoying being on the hills at the moment. You sometimes take for granted, or forget where we live.
My day off aligned with this stunning weather today! Got out with @andrewxbarlow around thirlmere up at raven crag. Absolutely great day. Rehabbing my knee to the point im at now feels great, but being the way it is really holds me back mentally from fell walking and other physical stuff in general so it always feels good to push it. I fell over and my heart rate went to about 3000, luckily no damage was done! Photo creds to @andrewxbarlow!
Top day out with @andrewxbarlow and @leemcdonaldclark on Wednesday. Feels good to test my knee and get the confidence back out on the fells! Photocred to Andy!
