“trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make straight your paths.” // proverbs 3:5-6 // saying goodbye to all my favorite people for three months isn’t easy, but as the semester wraps up and i reflect on my sophomore year, God’s faithfulness is SO evident. there have been so many ups and downs this year but through it all i’ve definitely grown and i wouldn’t change any of it. i’ve pushed myself outside of my comfort zone in so many ways over the past two years and i’m so grateful for all the opportunities i’ve been given since being at asbury. this year especially was full of new opportunities, new friendships, and learning how to fully trust in the Lord. specifically over the last few weeks, Jesus has blessed me with some quality new friends that i wouldn’t trade for the world. i’m sad i didn’t know them before, but God placed them in my life exactly when i needed it the most. He knew exactly what he was doing :) this semester truly could not have ended any better // here’s some of my favorite mems and people who made this year the best one yet // bring on junior year.

if you don’t know Maggie Richwine, you’re missing out. i just want to take a minute to tell you how much I appreciate this phenomenal friend of mine. since day one of college, Maggie has been there for me. she has helped me through some pretty tough times and she has been there with me to celebrate the good ones. as tag mom, student body president, but most importantly, one of my closest friends, she has been my biggest supporter. thank you for your constant love and encouragement Maggie. i can’t wait to work alongside of you next year!

For the past two years I have had the honor of serving as activities director on the Appointed class cabinet. I have loved every minute of this but I feel God has placed a desire in me to do something greater with the gifts He has given me. With that being said I am so happy to say that I have decided to run for VP of Student Activities! Serving on SAB and ASC as activities director and putting on events such as freshman formal, SoFresh, and other various events for our class has been a highlight of my time at Asbury thus far. I hope to continue serving and bringing fun, fresh events to Asbury’s campus in a new role. Please consider voting for me next week! “As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace.” 1 Peter 4:10
