Flow in slow motion of a gorgeous waterfall.

Sky on fire for tonight's sunset.

Yesterday's hike above the clouds in the White Mountains, New Hampshire.

Sunset reflections on rolling waves.

A gap in the snow-covered trees providing a view across a valley.

Ridge after ridge after ridge in the White Mountains National Forest. How many layers can you count??

Snow showers rolling across the landscape as seen from Mount Field.

A view of Mt. Chocorua in the distance. White Mountains, New Hampshire.

Mount Washington in the distance looking east from Mount Liberty.

From the summit of Mount Liberty looking southeast towards Mount Flume this past Sunday.

Pastel sky seen on a snowy, serene morning hike.

A photo from this morning's hiking adventure with my husband (pictured) before the snow storm hit New England.

Late afternoon light looking down Crawford Notch.

Layers upon layers upon layers.

To me, the most interesting part of this scene is not the snowy ridges in the distance, but the snow covered trees in the foreground.

A view of Mount Washington from this past weekend's hike. I normally don't like the lighting conditions in photos taken in the middle of the day, but didn't seem to mind with this one!

Golden hour and snowy summits.

Lenticular clouds hovering above Mount Washington yesterday.
