My MorFa (mother’s father) was danish, and I have really fond memories of weird, but delicious food my MorMor (mother’s mother) used to make. My gran’s recipes were lost, so now I am trying to find recipes as similar to hers as I can. Gløgg is a danish form of mulled wine, which will be perfect when we got the snow next week. And syltede sild, or pickled herring, hopefully like MorMor used to make. There is also rugbrød (danish black bread) proving on the coffee table, it should also be ready on time for next weeks adventures!
