I’ve noticed lately people seem to be getting bogged down in the results they want to achieve, rather than focussing their efforts, attention and energy on the actions now to achieve those results. ... .. It’s no good staring at your bank account and getting frustrated because it isn’t growing... and making counterproductive actions because you don’t have the result you want yet! ... . .. Its no good to stare at the scales and become upset, angry or frustrated at the fact that they aren’t decreasing and you aren’t losing the weight you want to, and then going out and trying to make yourself feel better with a dopamine lollipop “sugar or treats” and actually going against what you want to achieve will only push you further from your goal! ... .. Focus on the now, the actions, the steps and trust that it will all pay off r the outcome at the end!

Great back and arm day with @afuller16_. Mixed lots of heavy weights, reps, and angles in today. I love supersetting back exercise because you can hit the back hard with so many different angles. For example, the first video I begin with hitting my rear delts and traps with some high rows and then I increase the weight immediately and hit some low rows for my lower lats. This superset felt amazing honestly. Try it out sometime! 💪🏼

Happy #fitfriday ! 💪🏼 We haven't talked about why we made this account yet. Almost two months ago during my winter break in December my sister Cat and I decided to get a gym membership for just a month so she could teach me how to lift before I went back to my college. She had been training for a while and I had never really lifted anything. At first it was hard to keep up motivation and I could barely do a push up much less lift anything. Slowly but surely I've been making some progress and lifting heavier weights. I'm eating healthier and working out more using programs Cat writes for us. She's become my personal trainer, my gym partner, and my motivator. This account is meant to inspire me and others to stay motivated, eat healthy, train hard, and hopefully see the progress we've made along the way. This is to help me stay accountable despite all the college stresses and excuses I used to make. I know I have a long ways to go but you have to start somewhere! -Maria
