#VoteEarly and vote as often as you can! I cast my ballot last week at the Georgia, VT Town Clerk’s office- it was easy and fast. No lines, no waiting, all democracy in action. I took the greatest pride in voting for @christineforvermont for Governor and Pam McCarthy for State Senate. They’ve both been working so hard and I know they have the skills and leadership that we need in Montpelier. Go vote and get it done!
TEXAS - Early voting starts Today! It goes through Friday, Nov. 2. Polls are open from 7am-7pm. You should be able to vote at any polling place in your county. ID is required. I’ve listed tons of ID info below. If you need to find a polling location, visit vote411.org No one else’s vote is more important than yours, unless you don’t vote. Then everyone else’s is more important. Make your voice heard! There are seven acceptable forms of identification registered voters can bring to the polls: a Texas driver's license, Texas election identification certificate, Texas personal identification card, Texas handgun license, United States military ID card with a photo, United States citizenship certificate with a photo or a United States passport. These documents may be expired up to four years. For voters age 70 or older, there is no limit on the expiration of identification. There are also seven acceptable substitutes if you do not have a valid photo ID: a valid voter registration certificate, certified birth certificate, current utility bill, bank statement, government check, paycheck, or government document with your name and address on it. You'll need to sign a declaration form if you use any of these seven alternates. #democracy #midtermelections #midterms #govote #earlyvote #getoutthevote #makeyourvoiceheard
For over 7 years I have been voting from overseas. This means re-registering to vote at the start of each calendar year (even though I am already in the system as abroad) and then mailing in the original absentee ballots - New Jersey allows for electronic voting. No matter how one votes, if one has the right to vote - it is incredibly important to exercise that right! #govote #november6 #midterms2018 #getoutthevote
