This is a beautiful moment. This is how kings interact amongst each other. This is the goal for all of us kings. To be surrounded by each other with wealth and power. Kings, if the people around you don’t motivate you then find some new people to surround you. KINGS IN THEIR NATURAL HABITAT. Know Your Worth. • • #knowyourworthking #knowyourworth #blackhistorymonth #blackexcellence #blackkings #blackwealth #blackbusiness #supportblackbusiness #blackfamilies #blackmen #blackboyjoy #blackfreedom #diddy #jayz #meekmill #kevinhart #winnerswin #loserslose #goals

Repost By @blackfount: Nina Simone: (1933-2003) Singer. Activist. Icon. Rebel. ▪ ▪ Born Eunice Waymon in North Carolina, the 6th Child of a Preacher and changing her name to avoid religious ridicule of singing "secular" music, Nina Simone was one of many artists using their talents to supply the musical score of the civil rights era, including performing at the March to Selma, "Young, Gifted & Black," and composing "Mississippi Goddam," a song written & defiantly performed in protest to the 1963 murders of Medgar Evers and the racially motivated 16th Street Baptist Church bombings that took the lives of four little girls in Alabama. ▪ ▪ Though her outspoken messages of Black empowerment cost her access and success in many ways in an industry controlled by people who hated what she represented, Simone stated "I was needed, and I could sing something to help my people." ▪ ▪ Though she led an often troubled, abusive, eratic & volatile life, once firing a gun and trying to kill a record exec whom she felt was stealing her royalties (Which is gutta & hilarious AF), she has still been an inspiration to many generations, having being covered & sampled by the world's greatest musical talents, most recently "The Story of OJ" on Jay-Z's 444 Album. ▪ ▪ Simone transitioned in her sleep at 70 years old in 2003 after a long battle with breast cancer and though her legacy is a complex one, she continues to amaze and inspire today. #BlackWomenAreLoved👑🖤 #blackhistory#blackhistorymonth#blackfreedom#panafrican#panafricanism#blackpower#blackworrior#blackwomenarestrong#black#humanity#blackislove#nomoreslavery#orisalifestyle#blackwoman
