This spot absolutely blew our minds seeing it for the first time. Straight up PNW vibes here in California. The landscape up north is so diverse and unique from the rest of the state. Definitely coming back soon. 🤘🏻
We witnessed a completely unexpected sunset as the lake became more and more still and the clouds broke apart. Just minutes before this was a thunderstorm that confined us in our tents. It just goes to show that you can never predict anything in the backcountry. Just grateful we were able to witness this as I pulled out my @Sony #Xperia1 to snap a couple of shots before grabbing my main camera. It’s incredible how far phone camera technology has evolved these days and I was genuinely surprised to find how stunning the images looked straight out of camera without needing to edit or retouch. Definitely keeping this thing around everywhere I go. Check my stories for more.
I haven’t had the chance to get into the backcountry much this year but was super stoked to be able to check this one off the bucket list. I’m still in awe that this is pretty much my backyard. California is wild. Couldn’t have asked for a better crew to do it with too.🤘🏻
Early morning commutes around Fuji are something else. With the morning glow lighting up this behemoth of a mountain, it’s hard not be mesmerized as you pass by.
Hi guys! Today, I’m excited to announce that I am partnering with @AdobeStudents to help you guys unleash your #AdobeCreativeSide by learning select tools in Adobe @Lightroom. With the new school year, I encourage you guys to learn new tools and tricks to help develop your craft, hone in on your style, and to just simply express yourself! Working in LR can sometimes be daunting if you aren’t familiar with the program but by singling out certain tools that I believe are a necessity to finding your style in the editing process, I hope to make that process a bit easier for you. The first tool in LR that is critical to my workflow are the HSL functions. In this image, I adjusted the tones of the blues to make them a bit more subtle and changed the hues of mountains to make them look warmer, accentuating the sun hitting the mountains. Swipe for a before/after and check out my stories to see in detail how I use the HSL panel to obtain more subtle colors and selectively adjust certain colors in my image to help better tell a story. #ad
