While walking in the narrow alleys of Varanasi, on my way to the ghats for sunset, I stumbled upon this chai street vendor who started talking to me about photography. We exchanged a few words about how picturesque the holy city is for photographers, and couldn’t help myself asking him to pose for my camera. The natural light hitting his tiny shop, full of beautiful colored patterns, would have definitely make for a good portrait. I was, obviously, very happy with how the photo came out. It’s just so hard to take a bad photo when in Varanasi.
