The glowing ancient landscape of Australia.✨🏜 The colours of our land and sky as the sun starts to disappear below the horizon highlighting every surface of rock with a orange glow. These rocks hold so much power – intertwined with cultural beliefs and the creation stories which surround so much of this expansive land in Northern Australia. ✧

Recently I’ve been curious to understand more about our earth, the geology that makes up our planet and the value behind how we are using our natural resources. Northern Australia is home to some of the most incredibly rare diamonds on our planet. Our magical earth produces these gems deep in her core where an immense pressure transforms carbon into diamonds, a process that takes over 1-3 billion years when volcanic eruptions bring them to the surface. Leading diamond producers recognise that the process behind the industry is complex and like many actions on earth can affect our planet's air, land and water. However, diamond mining is less harmful to the environment than other types of mining as it does not make use of toxic chemicals. Despite the environmental risks, the industry has a relatively small footprint on the land due to the compact size of their operations. Investing significantly in conservation efforts, they protect three times the land they use for mining globally and are committed to water conservation and recycling – with on average 83% of water used in diamond recovery being recycled.

Our world is full of so much wonder… On a geological timeline we as humans have existed on our planet for such a small amount of time. The incredible rock formations which form our earth and are hidden throughout the many surface layers of our planet, are created from ancient geologic processes. This occurs gradually over millions and billions of years, yet are imperceptible in our lifetime. Understanding where our resources come from and the processes behind them are more important now than ever before. Our home only has finite resources, making it crucial for us to carefully consider our lifestyle choices and the ways in which we can protect it for future generations. @realisadiamond #sponsored #RealisRare #TotalClarity

For as long as I can remember I have been captivated with light. Forever following the sun and the magical qualities it holds. Drawn to the fleeting moments just before sunrise, where there is a stillness on the horizon....✨💕🧡💛

Twilight...✨💫

Midnight moon-light...✨🦓🌝 Apologies for my recent silence here, I’ve spent the last month travelling through Namibia, Africa. With limited service and very little connection to the outside world it has been refreshing to have time to sit still, disconnect and emotionally process my experience. It’s been such an adventure, filled with many heart felt moments & I have so much to share from this incredible journey over the coming weeks.
